This year, we are proudly celebrating our 10th year in business! As we enter this year's landscaping season, we wanted to take a moment to go through some of the details about what we do when you hire us - it has been 10 years in the making!
What We Do: We get a lot of questions about what it is that we do. Here is a quick overview of the services we provide:
Our primary work is landscape construction - installing patios, new sod, artificial turf, trees, fences, flowerbeds and more!
We provide grading services, post hole digging, bobcat services and concrete removal.
We love doing restoration work as well - removing and reinstalling existing patio stones and flag stones and reusing existing materials to refresh spaces.
We provide clean up and refresh services including shrub removal (including those pesky rootballs) and overgrown junipers/other evergreens, mulch refreshers, rock top-ups and more. Our mini skidsteer can fit in small spaces and make a huge impact!
How We Do It: If you are thinking a new landscape project, a yard refresh or a clean-up project, we'd love to help! Here is how our process typically works:

We'll meet with you to discuss the work at your property. Every quote will be completed by our ownership team. We bring with us a depth of experience and ideas to ensure that we can answer any questions you may have, give advice as needed and develop the best plan for you. Our meeting will include a general discussion of what you'd like to achieve in your yard, if there are any issues or concerns and what your dream project might be! We will give you ideas on how to complete the project all at once, possibilities of phasing in different elements over time and an approximate budget for the work you are interested in completing. We will take measurements before we leave so that we can provide an accurate quote for your review.
We will review all of your measurements and put together a quote and sketch for your review.
Once we send you our quote, we will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding your project and make any updates that you would like to see on the quote.
If you would to go ahead with any work, we will update the quote as needed and schedule you in! We will confirm material selections and let you know if there are any delays in securing certain materials as a result of supplier constraints or other potential issues.
Prior to starting work, we will book the utilities to be marked at your property. We will keep you posted on timing and will let you know if there are any weather or timing delays.
When we start your project, we will only work on your project. We do not start and stop projects like other companies may do - we dedicate our resources to finishing the project we are working on at that particular time. This means fewer delays, shorter installation times and more time you get to enjoy your outdoor space!
Who We Are: Sol Landscaping is owned and operated by husband and wife Roberto and Sarah. In operation since 2012, they bring with with them a strong background of landscaping and customer service expertise as well as an impeccable attention to detail. Each year, the Sol Team of supporting landscape professionals are selected for the landscaping season ahead to ensure that Sol has the strongest, most reliable and skillful team possible.
Every project is overseen by Roberto to ensure that quality is never compromised. Sol's job is not finished until the customers' expectations are met and exceeded. Sol Landscaping is fully licensed and insured and we carry WCB. Service areas include Calgary and surrounding areas including Okotoks, Foothills, Bearspaw, Cochrane, Priddis, Bragg Creek and beyond.
